British luxury high-performance supercar maker McLaren Automotive, renowned worldwide for the exclusive, luxury, high-performance supercars on which it has built its reputation over the past decade, returns to Milano AutoClassica – 18-20 November, in the bustling city of Milan, Italy. From this Friday to Sunday, McLaren brand fans and other car enthusiasts will be able to admire the distilled section of modern and heritage cars and boats on show at the celebrated automotive and marine autumn rendez-vous. The McLaren stand will feature an eye-catching McLaren Artura with a striking livery created in collaboration with Nat Bowen, a leading British abstract artist known for her vibrant, colourful pieces. This special livery, inspired by Nat Bowens art piece, Aurora, showcases the artistic vision in the artist’s signature style.  The exterior of the car features translucent resin pigments that adapt to the light, reflecting and absorbing the surroundings and resulting in the work becoming as if a part of the space it inhabits. Underpinned by the McLaren philosophy of super-lightweight engineering, the Artura is the distillation of every attribute inherent in a McLaren – distinctive design, unrivalled performance, dynamic excellence and engineering innovation – with electrification now bringing the additional benefits of even faster throttle response, lower emissions and being able to run in pure EV mode for emissions-free journeys of up to 31km. Together with the McLaren Artura, a 720S in Volcano Yellow represents McLaren’s benchmark supercar which has been extensively praised for its blend of performance, crafted luxury and wide breadth of dynamic capability, from controlled comfort to extreme handling prowess.Alongside the two ground-breaking supercars, visitors will be able to admire a McLaren Senna, the brand’s track oriented Ultimate model of which the500 available were all sold within a few days of its launch in December 2017.  The McLaren Senna offers the purest possible connection between the driver and car, achieved through a combination of low vehicle weight, extreme power, aerodynamic excellence, and a sophisticated active suspension system. The Delta Red car on display features the glass door inserts that offer the driver an even stronger connection with the road.
